The StyleBurbia casa has been a little famous lately.     You can check out Miss StyleBurbia casa here in this Samsung commercial: StyleBurbia's debut ;)   The girl chewing gum; the dog shaking (on our patio) and the dinner party (in our dining room) were all filmed at our house.   xoxo, Ris

My Life in Pictures

Of course things at work were super dead.  I had some time on my hands so I was working furiously on some fascinating posts for you. Alas, things went from 0 to a million and I have finished none of said posts to share with you. So, instead I'll share some of my pictures from Instagram (follow me here ). So needless to say, I am still EXHAUSTED and didn't use the time to rest up at all, but c'est la vie. Aunty Amby with her favorite guys    I originally thought that we would be hosting Thanksgiving at our house. Images of tablescapes danced in my head.     Table setting via Martha Stewart     Only thing, there were a few things working against us.   No dining room table or chairs. ...

We found these little guys under the wallpaper.  The previous owners bought our house in the early eighties.  I would assume that they wouldn't cover up their own paintings with wallpaper, though I could be wrong.  So, I'm assuming that these angels are at least 30 years old, which is not that old in the 115 year history of our house.  I still thought it was cool to find these little treasurers.   Unfortunately for them, they are totally not our style, so we painted over them.  I felt reall...
