Hi there lovies- I usually like to send out my seasonal trends before the season starts, but you now how it goes- Lots of real job work going on around these parts and poor StyleBurbia is suffering in my absence. At least it's still Fall and we're not up to our eyeballs in snow, right (though I did see some snow in some pictures from some of my Colorado peeps- not ready AT ALL!)?  I digress... as usual... so let's take a lookie. Easy ways to spruce up items you may already have in your wardrobe- animal print, leather, metallics and plaid- add a red lip and you're set. My lovely sister saw the window seat I posted in my last post (see { here } ) and asked, "where can I get that grey and white pillow?  I need one to go with the yellow and grey ikat pillow I bought (see { here } and { here } )."    I knew I had seen one similar to it recently, so I jumped onto google and plugged away.  I couldn't find the exact pillow despite my many attempts. :(  I did however, go to my go-to source for pillows, etsy.com , and found a few pillows that looked like the one on the window seat and then I found a bunch more that I thought would look great with her ikat pillows.    One of the great things about etsy (and there are many) is that you will find a lot of these pillows elsewhere for more money.  The pillow makers on etsy buy the same designer fabric on the same pillows you find in stores, but sell them for less.   See below for some of the lovelies that I found.  For more take a look { here }. ...

My sister recently told me that she has a bunch of events this spring and summer to attend- a baby shower, a bridal shower and at least two weddings.  So, I took it upon myself to make a little collage of some of my fav looks for these type of events.  The good thing is there are a ton of spring sales going on right now, so you can always take these looks for inspiration and go from there.  Spring Parties- What to Wear? 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 Any special events in your upcoming future?  What are you going to wear? xo, Ris

Yesterday was such a beautiful day that I started to get super excited that spring is here... would be here soon... Hooray!  I had to keep telling myself not to get too excited because in a few days it could easily be cold again and spring weather would be gone.  :( While I was out and about enjoying the weather, I started thinking about all the great clothes and colors that are out this season and I made a little inspiration board for all my lovely readers!
