From A to Sea

Image
My uber talented brother and sister in law, Josh and Donna, have created an amazing e-book called "A to Sea". Splish and Splash your way through this fully interactive A to Z animal alphabet that features dozens of your favorite sea creatures. It's perfect for kiddos of all ages. My boys love it and I sure your babes will too.

Take a sneak peek into the book{here}.
(This link will allow you to see the book's interactive qualities.)

To download a copy go to their site the Happy Dandelion {here}.

These illustrations are gorgeous, right?

Love the book and the illustrations so much that you want to decorate your kiddos rooms with prints from the book? Take a look {here}.

I hope you check it out and buy a copy (or more and prints galore)!!!!!

Happy weekend!

Around the Blogosphere

Hi hi.

(Yes, I'm still working a ton and that is the only reason for my infrequent posts. I'll do my best to keep up, so bear with me.)

I love finding new websites and blogs. I think they are great avenues for finding inspiration and I think the influence they have on my own style keeps it from getting boring and stuck in a rut.

Let's just say I was intrigued.
First, I stopped by a tour of the townhouse that she just sold over at the Glitter Guide.

She recently bought a new house that she is completely revamping, which is something I can obviously relate to.  Take a look {here}.

I thought these coral Anthropologie pants (now on sale!) that she wore in a recent post would be perfect…

I Haven't Been Forthcoming

Wondering where I've been?

Still working hard and watching the summer pass me by (sniff).
While I've been super sad that I didn't get to partake in summer activities as much as I would have liked, I was also keeping busy on the home front with quite a large undertaking.
Remember all of my dreams last summer of pool parties and my earlier inspiration on how I wanted our pool to look? Well, I have some small updates.

Last time you saw our pool, it looked kinda like this:

And the lovely brick-like pavers that surrounded it:

Well, it looks slightly different now.

We got a new liner on the pool and once we saw how great it was looking, we decided we also had to get rid of the old pavers and redo the entire patio around the pool.

The crazy thing about the whole project?  The quotes to redo the patio were coming in WAY TOO HIGH. We weren't sure what we were going to do. So, the world's best dad (that would be mine) offered to do it with the help of our handymen extraord…
