Spring Fling

Image
Hello there friends. It snowed last night AGAIN.  It's still cold today.  It's still grey, but there are a few signs of spring that are keeping me going until spring finally appears. 1- Bulbs poking their heads out of the ground in the StyleBurbia garden (which are now covered with snow). I'm especially excited about the daffodils that Hayden and I planted this fall. 2- A little vacation we have planned to a warm destination that will help bridge the gap to spring.  3- There's just something about this time of year that makes you feel like you can start anew and reinvent yourself. I'm thinking maybe new hair cut and color and wearing a bit more makeup to give myself a new look. 4- Spring trends in fashion and home decor.  Here are some of the trends that I'm loving: MINTY, MINTY, MINTY Asos blouse with folded collar Joe Fresh jeans now available at JC Penney Leather School Boy bag from Joe Fresh ...

Check out the menu { here } . Thanks to my friend, Chris, who always provides the best tips on what restaurant I should go to next. Weekend in Review

Lately, I'm always looking around for furniture for the house.  I'll probably wait until we actually move in to buy the majority of the pieces, so that I have a better feel for how we use the space, but it doesn't hurt to window shop until then, right? Here were some of lovelies that I encountered: Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams  were having a tag sale.  They had one in January too and there were quite a few pieces that were discounted heavily. Keep your eyes open for the next one.   West Elm had quite a few things that I really liked though they were mostly smaller items and not furniture. Parsons desk wrapped in grass cloth: West Elm Parsons Desk Detail: They are having a bedding sale, 20% off all items.  There were many duvets that I liked.
