Spring Fling

Hello there friends.
It snowed last night AGAIN.  It's still cold today.
It's still grey, but there are a few signs of spring that are keeping me going until spring finally appears.

1- Bulbs poking their heads out of the ground in the StyleBurbia garden (which are now covered with snow).
I'm especially excited about the daffodils that Hayden and I planted this fall.
2- A little vacation we have planned to a warm destination that will help bridge the gap to spring.
3- There's just something about this time of year that makes you feel like you can start anew and reinvent yourself. I'm thinking maybe new hair cut and color and wearing a bit more makeup to give myself a new look.
4- Spring trends in fashion and home decor.

Here are some of the trends that I'm loving:

Asos blouse with folded collar

Joe Fresh jeans now available at JC Penney

Leather School Boy bag from Joe Fresh

Just picked up this minty concoction from BaubleBar
Hoping it will help brighten my office wear and weekend wear.

Mint Gem Braid Collar from BaubleBar

Loving this one too:

Not feeling the mint?
Pastels are also really big now, so if mint is not your thing trade it in for a lavender or a pretty pale yellow or pink.

Floral blazer from Forever 21

Floral pants from Lulu's

Floral Print Patch Pocket Blazer on sale now at Bebe

Easy ways to add floral to your spaces- throw pillows, bedding, towels, dinnerware.

I picked up this cute little number from Bebe. Here it is modeled by one of my favorite bloggers Blair Eadie from Atlantic-Pacific.
I'll have to post pictures of me wearing the dress once I get a chance to wear it.
