Hi hi. I hope all is well. It seems like I am always super swamped at work this time of year.  I always feel like I'm missing out on Christmas spirit and holiday festivities when I'm glued to my computer. Poor me. :(  Luckily I had a doctor's appointment a couple of weeks ago and I was forced to escape from the office for a bit.  One of my favorite stores, Club Monaco , had undergone a complete renovation to their flagship store in NYC and I hadn't had a chance to stop by (insert busy at work- again). My doctor's office is next door so I had no excuse and boy was I happy I stopped by.  The entryway was perfectly done. I really felt like I was entering someone's super chic home rather than a store.  This picture does not do the space justice, but the ceiling was so gorgeous- a silvery grey sky with tiny glistening stars. So, you thought I fell off the face of the earth and had shuttered StyleBurbia? I can't blame you. I've been working my tail off and let me tell you, working a ton during the summer is SO NOT FUN. It is even harder because summer is my favorite time of year (besides Christmas).  I should be catching lightning bugs and eating ice cream with the boys and sipping wine with the hubs on our porch while the light lasts well until the night. I am not at all happy about this, but what can you do? So, forgive my infrequent posts and know that it will get better as soon as my work schedule improves. Of course things at work were super dead.  I had some time on my hands so I was working furiously on some fascinating posts for you. Alas, things went from 0 to a million and I have finished none of said posts to share with you. So, instead I'll share some of my pictures from Instagram (follow me here ). Got this lucite and embossed leather console from ABC Home . Now I just need to find some time to 'style' it. I went on a visit to the Bauble Bar offices . Love the decor. Had to pick up { this } and { this } while I was there. I'm hoping I get to check out the Soho pop-up store so that I can see more of their baubles in person. A little gingham and a J. Hello there friends. It snowed last night AGAIN.  It's still cold today.  It's still grey, but there are a few signs of spring that are keeping me going until spring finally appears. 1- Bulbs poking their heads out of the ground in the StyleBurbia garden (which are now covered with snow). I'm especially excited about the daffodils that Hayden and I planted this fall. 2- A little vacation we have planned to a warm destination that will help bridge the gap to spring.  3- There's just something about this time of year that makes you feel like you can start anew and reinvent yourself.
